My Favorite Work Station

When People enter my home kitchen the first thing they see is my incredible 7-foot Galley sink with it's functioning cutting boards, bowls, and cooling rack, set perfectly in my kitchen island. I've had this sink for 7 years, and it provides the best workstation a chef could ask for! I live in Tulsa, Oklahoma where this sink was designed by Roger Shollmier. It is also available in 5-ft, 4-ft, and 3-ft sinks, and I have the 4-ft in my outdoor kitchen (yes, I love this product!).  This week, the new showroom for The Galley (and all the new gorgeous accessories and cabinetry to go with it) opened its doors, and I was privileged to cook for 40 designers, dealers, and home store owners from around the U.S. and Canada who love this sink almost as much as I do.

As I served them fried risotto balls, crostini with artichoke ragu, bruschetta, and a mezze platter of cheeses and spreads, they swooned over the displays of The Galley all around the room.  I then prepared a sit-down dinner of orange/walnut salad, beef tenderloin, shrimp puttanesca, roasted potatoes, asparagus, and mushrooms, lemon pasta, and chocolate tarts.

While cooking, I demonstrated different ways I've used my Galley for the past 7 years, and how it has completely changed the way I cook and prepare food in my classes and parties.  There are now thousands of Galley Sinks in homes around the country, and it has been featured in several cooking and home decorating television shows.  Check out their website, THE GALLEY | REINVENT YOUR KITCHEN , and come visit the beautiful showroom. Many of the recipes I prepared are on my website, and I'd be happy to show you how to use The Galley sink for yourself!
