Ham and Cheese Muffins

These muffins might just change your life because they are just so good! Use good quality ham and cheese because their flavors are going to explode when you bite into these gems.  They freeze well, but really taste their best shortly after they’re baked.

Main ingredients:
(makes 10)
1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1 1/2 tablespoon sugar
1 1/2 tablespoon baking powder
1/2  teaspoon salt
2 cups Sharp cheddar cheese
1 cup chopped ham
1 cup milk
1 egg beaten
1/4 cup melted butter

Method:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a medium bowl, whisk the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt together. Stir in cheese and ham. In a small bowl, stir milk, egg, and butter. Add dry ingredients and stir just until the batter comes together. Do not over mix. Scoop batter into buttered muffin pan, filling 3/4 full; Bake for 35 minutes.
